Edica Ltd is a Costa Rican award winning Construction Company. It was founded in 1957. Since then, we have been in charge of a large number of projects for the public sector and private sector, such as clinics, hospitals, banks, industrial plants, hotels, oil pipes, power lines, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, airports, residential and commercial buildings, among others.
Some of our main projects have been: Children’s Hospital (1962), Mexico Hospital (1967), the Costa Rican Electricity Institute’s headquarters (1972), the National Bank of Costa Rica’s headquarters (1982), Water Treatment Plant for the Metropolitan Area in Tres Ríos (1987), U.S. Agency for International Development’s headquarters (1988), International Bank of Costa Rica (1992), Meliá Conchal Hotel (1996), Judicial Courts in Goicoechea (1996), Juan Santamaría International Airport Phase I (1999), Tuna Processing Plant of the Sardimar Company (2002), Brisas del Oeste Housing Complex (2005), new hall of the San Vicente de Paul Hospital (2010) and Juan Santamaría International Airport Phase II (2010).
